This 3 hour collaborative storytelling experience will harness the immersive setting of Pentridge Prison’s Hell (H) Division to transport players to the incredible worlds created by Critical Role.

In the lead up to the Melbourne Critical Role live-show, the National Trust and Masters of Alchemy, invite you to begin your adventure, with several Darrington Press games available to choose from.

The authentic setting and bluestone, dungeon atmosphere of Pentridge Prison makes these immersive story telling experiences a game like none you’ve played before. Hosted from within the very bowels of the maximum security unit, each game will be played inside a real prison cell.

What to Expect

• 3-hour, one-shot table top role playing adventure
• No experience with the game system is required and all materials will be provided by expert Game Masters, provided by Masters of Alchemy
• Maximum group size: D&D in Exandria (4 tables of 5 people), Candela Obscura (2 tables of 4 people) & Daggerheart (2 tables 4 people)

Food and beverage service is not available inside H Division, but guests are welcome to bring their own snacks. While alcohol is not permitted inside, you can enjoy a drink before or after your game at BrewDog, conveniently located in the heart of the Pentridge complex, which also offers takeaway food options.

Over the course of 3 hours, players will complete a contained story one shot, guided by the skilled storytelling of professional Game Masters.

Candela Obscura
Join a group of investigators of esoteric phenomena, chosen by a secret society to confront the occult horrors that beset the world. A game of investigative horror using the Illuminated Worlds System, Candela Obscura was developed by the Critical Role creative team and lends itself to narrative, arc-driven roleplay. Fans of Call of Cthulhu, Dark Vigil, and Blades in the Dark will enjoy adventures using this new RPG system.

Daggerheart
Developed by the Critical Role team, Daggerheart is fantasy roleplaying game where the world is built by your group as you play. You can create a character in moments, and set out on an adventure that becomes interwoven with your backstory. A narrative driven game that rewards your imagination.
